Waitangi Notebook

Waitangi Notebook “Mouse” is a 2007 New Zealand Sport Horse (Littorio x Grey Flight). Lynn came across Mouse while visiting friends in New Zealand in 2011.  She wasn’t planning on coming back with a souvenir, but Mouse’s extraordinary movement, powerful jump, and good brain were too tempting to turn down. She is beautifully bred, with the legendary Aberlou bloodlines through her Grand Prix dam Grey Flight. She is by the Holsteiner sire, Littorio.

 

Mouse went on to compete at the CIC2* level before a life-threatening injury cut her eventing career short. Luckily Mouse's fantastic, laid back temperament and strong willingness to learn make her a barn favorite and she is now owned and ridden by Lynn’s mom, Joan.
