Donner
(Jockey Club Name: Smart Gorky (Gorky Park x Smart Jane – Smarten)) is a 2003 17.1h off the track Thoroughbred who came to Lynn in fall 2008 as a flighty youngster with obvious raw talent. Under Lynn’s guidance, Donner progressed to the top of the sport with multiple team appearances and tremendous success at the CCI5* level.
He is a very leggy, classic looking Thoroughbred, elegant on the flat with tremendous scope. Donner loves stale horse cookies, napping, having his ears rubbed, and snorting.
Donner is owned by The Donner Syndicate whose members include: Mary Ann Ghadban, Sarah Berhalter, Judith Berhalter, Amanda Healy, Po Tatham, John Tavana, Madelyn Curto, and Molly and Peter Jenkins.
